A Letter from Father to Sons

Tommy of “The Low Down” has posted a letter dated May 19, 2004 from a retired attorney to his sons. I cannot say whether the letter is authentic. It's authenticity is not really relevant or important, however, because the message being conveyed is what is truly important. This attorney, whose name is not given, talks about the Islamic onslaught facing the United States and what it will mean if we lose this war on terror.

It is a bit of a long letter, but as I said earlier, the message is important. I encourage you to take the time to read it carefully and understand what this World War II veteran has to say about winning a war, defeating our enemy, and defending our way of life.

Islamofacism and Terrorism in Beslan, Russia

I have been so preoccupied with the upcoming wedding and my 9 to 5 job lately that I haven't given much thought to events going on in the world around me. One thing that has not been lost on me, however, were the horrible attacks on the schoolchildren in Beslan, Russia. I was sickened and appalled that Islamofacists would sink to such levels as to attack children.

If you wonder why I call the terrorists by the name “Islamofacist,” you should understand that these Chechen “rebels” are actually Islamic extremists whose ultimate goal is to spread Islamic rule and dominance across the world. In fact, it has been determined that of the 32 terrorists who carried out the Beslan attacks, 10 of them were from Arab countries (Arab nationals). Additionally, according to the United Press International, these terrorists (aka Islamofacists) “are believed to have been funded by Wahabist Muslim leader Abu Omar al-Seif, al-Qaida's liaison in Chechnya and the manager of the group's foreign funds.”

Further connections between al Qaida and the Chechen “rebels” are being uncovered almost daily. Al Qaida and other extremist organizations are responsible for training and preparing the suicide bombers who are carrying out attacks in Russia and the North Caucasus. The FSB in Russia has determined that “In a number of cases, suicide bombers are trained by Chechen instructors, but they, too, use al Qaeda methods.”

In general, the mass media and mainstream media press has avoided mentioning the connection between the attacks in Beslan, Islamofacism, the Chechen rebels and al Qaida. This is to the tremendous detriment of people the world over but especially here in the U.S. because we need to know the true face of our enemy. By the media's clear lack of intent on portraying that face, they are keeping our citizenry ignorant, dumb, and in the dark about the evil we face. So if you ever run across an article or speak to a person who claims that there is no connection between al Qaida, Islamofacism, Chechen rebels and the Beslan attacks, you can easily refute those remarks. In truth, there is a big connection, one that is being uncovered and further exposed and clarified with each passing day.

I encourage you to educate yourself on the issue of terrorism, Islamofacists, and the Islamic extremists desire to “take over the world.” Only by being informed and knowing enough about our enemy will we be able to withstand the Islamic onslaught that is already upon us. In this war for civilization, culture and lives, it is not enough to have superior physical force; we must arm ourselves with information, unbiased and factual. For what good is superior physical force if we do not know who to aim it at and when to attack or defend?

Wedding Weather Shakeup

Well, it seems as if this wedding is starting to come together ... all except for the weather. You see, the big day is Saturday, 25-September. I didn't give much thought to the weather until my mom called me on the phone the other day and told me that the forecast from Weather.com predicted “rain” and “showers” almost solid without any break for the next 10 days. This is BAD NEWS. We were supposed to get married on a friend's 40-acre property in the Rocky Mountain range (Can you say “pretty?”), and this forecast does not bode well for us.

The only backup plans we have for moving the wedding indoors is the reception hall at a local hotel where our reception is to take place. This is not the kind of place where I want to get married. Let me repeat. THIS IS NOT THE KIND OF PLACE WHERE I WANT TO GET MARRIED. Don't get me wrong. It is a fine place for a wedding reception, otherwise, we wouldn't be having our reception there. However, for a wedding ceremony where you will be taking pictures and where you are supposed to be feeling all kinds of romantic, lovey-dovey and gushy emotions, it simply does not work for me. My wedding is supposed to be a fall/autumn-themed affair, so getting married outside would have been perfect. Getting married in the reception hall would just burst my bubble so bad. (I have been waiting A LONG TIME to get married. My baby sister go married before me a few years ago. All of my friends from high school have been married for at least 10 years now. Even my younger friends from my most recent stint in college have already been married for a couple of years. So yes, I am an old maid, and damn it, I feel I deserve a pretty wedding for having had to wait so long while I watch all of my friends and my baby sister get married before me.) Anyway, back to the issue at hand. Not only is the reception hall completely devoid of any type of decoration, but the carpeting and paint on the walls just do not go with my colors at all. Again, as I said earlier, my honey and I considered it fine for our reception. But I do not want to get married in that room. Also, what kind of nice wedding pictures can you get inside a freakin' reception hall? Certainly not the kind I've been dreaming about for a long time now.

So far, the weather forecast shows continual rain and showers through Monday, 20-September. Even if it stopped raining by 25-September, the ground would be too soggy to expect guests to tromp through the mud. I am in desperate need of some good ju-ju. Would all of my readers please say a prayer for me, throw some good energy my way, meditate and talk to your spirit guides to bless my wedding day? Whatever type of spiritual ritual you choose for yourself, will you please throw in a little something for me and ask that the weather please clear up and become beautiful for my wedding day in on 25-September in Kalispell, Montana? I really need all the good vibes I can get because, as I have already gone on and on about, I DO NOT WANT TO GET MARRIED IN AN UGLY RECEPTION HALL.

Thanks everyone!

Outside Thoughts on Illegal Immigration

You all know how fervently I am opposed to illegal immigration and mass, unchecked immigration, whether legal or illegal. I haven't had time lately to write my own posts, but I have been reading what others have written, and I must say that Kim du Toit has written a real hum-dinger about illegal immigration. Titled Stemming the Tide, Mr. du Toit's article goes into wonderful detail about how illegal immigration threatens us as a nation. The comments left on his site, nearly always made by articulate and well-spoken individuals, have only served to add to the shine that is this gem of a piece. I encourage you to read not only the article but also the comments because they will expand on what Mr. du Toit has said and provide you with another frame of reference (his commenters are located around the country and have as varied an ethnic and racial persuasion as any to be found in our most “diverse” cities).

I recently came across another article that also discusses the dangers that mass immigration, specifically Mexican illegal immigration, poses for the U.S. Once things have settled down a bit in my life, I hope to write up a little blurb about that article and add my own two cents to the mix. In the meantime, please enjoy Mr. du Toit's article!
