Co-Founder of Minuteman Project Considering Run for Congress
According to World Net Daily, immigration activist Jim Gilchrist is contemplating a run for Assemblyman of California's 48th Congressional District.
For those of you who may not recognize the name, Gilchrist is a co-founder of the Minuteman immigration activism group.
Jim Gilchrist, co-founder of the Minuteman Project civilian border patrol organization, is seriously considering a run for Congress, promising to make stemming the tide of illegal immigration his No. 1 priority.
I certainly wish I lived in the 48th district because I would definitely vote for Jim. In my mind, illegal immigration is neck and neck with Islamic terrorism as being the most important issue facing the United States today. In spite of the fact that a large majority of Americans want to see our borders secured and the wave of illegal immigration stopped, our elected leaders are doing absolutely nothing about this problem, and in the case of our President, are actually pushing an open-borders agenda.
