Hiatus
Autumn is my favorite time of the year. Unfortunately, it seems that every fall, my work and personal schedule kick into high gear, and I become busier than I was in the prior nine or ten months. This year has turned out to be no exception. As is evident from my lack of posts starting this month, the time available for me to blog is down in the negative regions.
Rather than feeling guilty for not blogging or posting any new material, I'm just going to state up-front that I am taking a hiatus from blogging until sometime in late December. I may be back in time for Christmas, as several of my obligations will be complete as of 21-December. If I'm too exhausted, though, I may not resume blogging until after Christmas -- perhaps not even until after the new year has begun.
I might pop in from time to time to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, or just post a funny something-or other that won't take me very long to blog about. There won't be any hard-hitting political discussion or banter because, frankly, there's just not time to spend an hour or so writing out my thoughts and opinions on any particular matter.
Because posting will be so infrequent, if you want to know when I post to the Doggy Diaries, I'd suggest setting the Doggy Diaries up on a blogroll that will notify you when there's a new post here.
With that, I bid you all a fond adieu until 8-10 weeks from now!

I've been thinking about you and hoping that something will come up to let you move out of CA. I just can't fathom how expensive it is to live there. We'd barely be able to afford an apartment, let alone a house!

You are already on my blogroll so I'll know if/when you post. I will miss your compositions though, rare though they've been this past while.
Please take good care of yourself, mentally, physically, emotionally. I know you've been under a lot of stress lately and I truly wish there was something I could do to help.
Do what you can to enjoy the Fall. Do what you can to enjoy each and every day. Just know that you have friends out here who think of you and need reassurance that you're ok.
We'll all be watching for you, and thinking of you. Take care. :)
