That's One Fearless Puppy!

Would that I had the courage of this little guy! Hmmm, actually, could it be that he's not such a smart little guy?

A very small puppy plays with a full grown pit bull!

Costa Mesa Immigration Enforcement Elicits Anger

It's about time at least one city in the U.S. had the courage to take matters into it's own hands to enforce immigration laws that our federal government seems intent on ignoring. The city at the center of the turmoil is Costa Mesa, located in Southern California's well-known Orange County.

According to the LA Times ...

A 3-2 vote last month to train police officers to work with federal immigration officials and sheriff's deputies to determine the immigration status of suspects arrested for other crimes has made the city a battleground in the national controversy over immigration policy.

It was actually the mayor of Costa Mesa, Allan Mansoor, who proposed the idea that Costa Mesa begin enforcing federal immigration law.

"The public has been demanding this," said Mansoor, who is also an Orange County sheriff's deputy.

I, for one, am extremely pleased at what's happening in Costa Mesa. Quite frankly, I don't give a rat's patootie about the ruckus being caused by "immigrant activists/supporters." Anyone with any shred of intelligence can see that these people calling themselves "immigrant activists" or "immigrant supporters" are really only supporters of ILLEGAL immigrants. I have yet to hear of a case where these "immigrant activists" came out to support immigrants who are in the U.S. legally. The fact that they are so loud-mouthed and violent only serves to make them appear idiotic to the rest of the world.

I say "bravo" to Mayor Mansoor for having the guts to stand up for what the people of his city want. It's about time someone listened to the citizens and legal residents of this country instead of kow-towing to illegal aliens and the illegal alien activist groups.

You can read up on the story at the LA Times, Fox News, and the San Diego Union Tribune.
